How much does a full car detail cost?

In the current FairDetail catalog, published sedan full-detail prices from 109 independent businesses run $85–$649. What’s included varies a lot, so compare the interior and exterior work listed in each package, not just the name “full detail.”

Where do FairDetail’s prices come from?

From the businesses’ own websites and booking pages. Every price links to its original source and shows the date we checked it. We never estimate a price that a business hasn’t published.

How does the quote checker decide if a price is fair?

It compares your quote with published prices for the same service and vehicle category from at least five independent businesses, using the county of the ZIP code you enter. If there are fewer than five, it tells you so instead of guessing.

Is FairDetail free?

Yes. Checking prices and contacting businesses is free. There are no booking fees, and businesses do not pay for their listing or for a higher position.

Do you send my information to detailers?

No. When you ask FairDetail for help with a quote, your request goes to the FairDetail team only. Calling a business from a listing contacts that business directly.

I own a detailing business. How do I update or remove my listing?

Use the claim, correction or removal options on the contact page. Ownership-sensitive changes are reviewed first, and removal is always free.
